Financial Donations

The Hoof Project Foundation (HPF) is largely supported by the horse industry. The care, education and research that HPF conducts is made possible through contributions from individuals and organizations.

You can help! It doesn't take much to make a big difference. The help of horse lovers like you - even if it's with only a few dollars - is crucial to the work of The Foundation.

Donations of any amount are always accepted. HPF is a non-profit corporation within the State of Texas and has been recognized as a 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization by the Internal Revenue Service. You will receive a receipt for your tax records for any donation received by HPF.

Gallery of Memories

Hoof diseases, such as laminitis, affect horses from all breeds, all countries and all facets of the equine industry. If your horse has been affected by hoof disease, please send in a photo and a short summary. A horse will be featured on the home page of the Web site each month. Photos and stories will be added to the Gallery, which serves as a reminder that any horse can be at risk for these painful and debilitating diseases.
